AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iraq's parliamentary Badr Coalition, emphasizing that Iraq's sovereignty is a red line, considered targeting Hashd al-Shaabi as an aggression against Iraq and its sovereignty.
The coalition, in a statement issued on Sunday, warned that the blood of the martyrs is not a transient or negligible issue, and emphasized that Iraq will not be an open arena for aggressions.
The coalition also announced that it will use all legal and constitutional means to protect Iraq's sovereignty.
The Badr Coalition, while emphasizing that the diplomatic path should be given room to move, also stated that it will not remain silent regarding the blood of the martyrs, and added that the withdrawal of foreign forces is a national demand and a fulfillment of loyalty to the blood of the martyrs.
The coalition, while emphasizing its support for the government, Iraq's sovereignty, and the protection of the country's security institutions, called for respect for Iraq's sovereignty to be translated into clear and specific commitments, and for international guarantees to be provided to prevent the recurrence of aggressions against Iraq.
The Badr Coalition also called on the aggressors to accept responsibility for their actions and compensate the families of the martyrs.
The coalition concluded by reiterating its position opposing the escalation of tensions, but at the same time emphasized that it will not retreat from Iraq's sovereignty and the rights of the country's martyrs.
